What a team, MAN(U)!!

JOAT Writes..

Another season gone, another second place finish. That has been manchester united's story for the past three years now, finishing second to arsenal, and then more recently to chelsea in the last two years. and what is really frustrating is that they should have won all three years. its a classic case of getting so close and yet missing out. i wouldnt be surprised if the manu regulars are visiting psychatrists to combat that dreadful sense of deja vu which they are sure to have from the past three years. Ever since Becks left the famous club, he left on a high, by the way, manu won that year, they have struggled in the beginning of the season, and then paid the price of a slow start in the end. and now with the departure of rudd van nistelrooy, things are looking very bleak. alex ferguson, though i respect the old man, seems to be losing his marbles. he hasnt signed on anybody yet, signed away the most prolific mid fielder of our times (beckham) and now the most successful strikers of the EPL (Rudd). the only bright point seems to be the retaining of christiano ronaldo, not to mention the return to form of paul scholes. And what with wayne rooney being a marked man, he seems to have atleast three markers everytime he goes out, the scoring capabilities of Man U look very weak indeed. chelsea, on the other hand have been relentless with their signings, having obtained ballack, shevchenko, and more recently, ashley cole from arsenal. just hope, then, that old Fergie has more up his sleeves than he is letting on, and that manu will get back to their winning ways of old.
